ISO 14001
ISO 14001 is the international specification for an environmental management system. It specifies requirements for establishing an environmental policy, determining environmental aspects and impacts of products/activities/services, planning environmental objectives and measurable targets, implementation and operation of programs to meet objectives and targets, checking and corrective action, and management review.
In December 2000, International Marine Salvage was first registered to the ISO 14001 Standard. In co-ordination with the ISO 14001 standard, International Marine Salvage has an environmental management system that currently aids in the identification of all new, existing and potential environmental aspects.
Environmental compliance audits are completed by third party auditing firms, to closely monitor all applicable environmental compliance issues related to daily operations within International Marine Salvage Inc.
